GTA 5 features a large arsenal of weapons, and one of the trickiest is the Sticky Bomb, which is a very special exercise to detonate.

Grand Theft Auto 5 offers endless hours of exploration and experimentation in San Andreas. In Grand Theft Auto 5 there are a variety of tools that can be used to destroy the intricate streets of the city and surrounding districts. The problem is that some of the more strategic weapons aren't as self-explanatory as the guns and vehicles. The Stickybombs are one of those weapon types, and luckily there are ways to detonate them to stir up the fight.

Stickybombs are the least used explosives in Grand Theft Auto 5, simply because most players can't figure out how to use them. They can be purchased from the Ammu-Nation Supply Store once unlocked in the campaign. Stickybombs are best detonated from a safe distance. They're great for setting traps and clearing areas when you're in a tight spot. It's important to know that standing too close to the bomb will damage you. There is a maximum range that the remote control signal can reach. So don't stray too far from her.

The 1×1 of the sticky bombs in GTA 5

As has been pointed out time and time again, Stickybombs have the potential to become the best explosive weapon in the game. They stick to any surface and can be detonated at any time for massive damage. Those looking to unleash a wave of explosions will be happy to know that there are a total of 20 stickybombs to detonate in single player. It may only be five in GTA Online, but that's still enough bombs to cause massive carnage and mayhem in a short amount of time.

Another advantage of this bomb is that it can be thrown out of vehicles pretty easily in the game. You can set up deadly booby traps along the way and detonate them when all the necessary charges have been placed. Just be careful to stay away from the blast radius of this explosive as it can be very large and result in an early and frustrating game over.

If you really want to be creative, you should know that stickybombs can also detonate if you shoot them. So you can place these bombs near enemy turrets to surprise them with an explosion and neutralize threats in a fun way. These bombs can also detonate if placed on a vertical surface and rammed by a car, causing unintentional but hilarious deaths.

Detonating sticky bombs in Grand Theft Auto 5 takes a little getting used to, especially for beginners. But once you figure out how to use the bombs, they can be very useful. First, the bomb must be placed in the desired location. Then the bomb must be prepared in the inventory. The way the bombs are detonated depends on which gaming platform is used.

  • Playstation – Once the Stickybomb is in inventory, walk towards the target and press “R2” to place it. After that, you should take cover at a safe distance and press the left button of the D-Pad. This detonates the bomb.
  • Xbox – The configuration on the Xbox is pretty much the same as on the PlayStation. Equip the bomb from inventory, place it on target, then press left on the D-Pad. This can also happen while driving.
  • personal computer – The basic strategy for detonating stickybombs in Grand Theft Auto 5 on PC is also pretty much the same. Take the Sticky Bomb and place or throw it at the target. Then press “G” on the keyboard to detonate the bomb. This is the default bomb detonation button on PC unless the configuration has been changed.

Playing around with sticky bombs is not only useful, but also a lot of fun. They can come in very handy when it comes to shrugging off pursuers while on the move. Figuring out how much nearby explosion damage is will take some trial and error.
